Terms of Service
Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Shore Wallet, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Non-custodial nature
Shore Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. You alone are responsible for your private keys and seed phrase. We cannot access, recover, freeze, or reverse your funds under any circumstances — including if your device is lost, your seed phrase is lost, or a transaction is sent in error.
There is no "forgot password" option for your wallet. If you lose your seed phrase, your funds are permanently inaccessible, and we have no way to help recover them.
No investment advice
Nothing in Shore Wallet or on this website constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Cryptocurrency is volatile and carries real risk of loss. Use your own judgment, and consult a professional advisor before making financial decisions.
Assumption of risk
You acknowledge and accept the risks inherent to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, including but not limited to price volatility, network congestion, smart contract risk, and irreversible transactions. Network gas fees are set by the underlying blockchain, not by us, and are outside our control.
Open source software
Shore Wallet's code is open source and provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You're encouraged to review the code yourself before trusting it with funds.
Prohibited use
You agree not to use Shore Wallet for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, fraud, or funding illegal activity, and not to attempt to interfere with or reverse-engineer the app in a way intended to harm other users.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shore Wallet and its team are not liable for any loss of funds, data, or damages arising from your use of the app, including losses caused by user error, lost credentials, third-party services, or blockchain network issues.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of Shore Wallet after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

A note on this document
This page is a starting template and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before relying on it as your actual, published terms of service, have it reviewed by a qualified attorney — terms for a financial/crypto product carry real liability implications that are worth getting properly reviewed for your specific jurisdiction and business structure.
